  • Stomach pain because of excessive gas

  • Not able to breath properly

Kindly contact your doctor if you notice any of the symptoms. Mom needs to stop eating those foods which might be allergic to the baby. If mom eats an egg and the baby gets any of the above symptoms then you should stop eating an egg during breastfeeding.

  • Eggs should be well cooked and do not eat raw eggs.
  • Do not eat any food which includes raw eggs as it would be risky.
  • Also avoid eating dishes which contain raw eggs.
  • Breastfeeding women need to understand that they should not consume any food which leads to indigestion. Example- Fried eggs (eggs might left uncooked)
  • Salad dressings, homemade sauces and mayonnaise contain raw egg and you should avoid it completely while breastfeeding.
  • Special candies are made up of eggs. Try not to consume those candies but you can opt for eggless chocolates.
  • Salmonella- It is a common infectious disease. It affects our intestine tract and can disturb digestive system. After infection, there are chances of having stomach cramps, diarrhea. Eating raw eggs may lead to having salmonella.

Therefore, especially pregnant and lactating mothers need to avoid raw eggs contain food and dishes.
